The application period for the 2016 3DCAMP Summer School is now open.

 

Introduction

 

The program is addressed to PhD students and senior scientists interested in Additive Manufacturing from EPFL-ETHZ network. Few spots are available for foreign students.

The price is 270 CHF.

 

How to apply

 

STEP 1: Application deadline July 8th 2016

 

Motivation letter

To apply to the 3D CAMP you should clearly state your interest for this course in a motivation letter. The motivation letter should have a length of max. 1 page A4 (Times New Roman, 12pt., 1.5 line spacing,) and should provide answers to the following questions:

  • What is your background/expertise?
  • Why do you want to learn more about 3D printing?
  • Why would you be the ideal candidate for the summer school?
  • In which way do you think this summer school can be useful in your future work?
  • How do think you can contribute to the discussion in the course?
  • What is the 3D printing application you are mainly interested in and why (Biofabrication, Composite Materials, Flexible Electronics)
  • Do you have hands-on experience on 3D printing?

Selection Procedure

All complete applications will be put forward to the scientific evaluation committee. A limited number of places are available.

 

STEP 2: Notification of the Accepted Candidates

Selected candidates will be notified by July 15th.
